Miami Ad School, Account Planning Bootcamp

Saturday. Day off: no way! At 11 am I met Johnny and Di at NIVEA Haus (aka. their flagship store) where we did an observation for our project. We also did interviews with people on the streets, before we went to a restaurant for some food and of course we interviewed the staff there. Then we went to another store for som more consumer interviews, before we felt that we had enough data to continue the analytical work at my place. We sat on the balcony, thinking, talking, reading and writing (that’s the work of an account planner).

When it was time for dinner, Di cooked this fab Chinese mushroom soup. And the best; I have the left-overs in my fridge. Perfect for tomorrow when all the grocery stores are closed.

Then we continued our hunt for the consumer insight until 8 pm something, and tomorrow we’ll be up for it again. We have a debrief session with the client on Monday, and on Thursday we’ll presenting the creative brief for the creative team.
