The Farewell

As everyone had different return flights as well, most of the farewell was said the previous night. A few left by the early morning morning flight. Our flight was in the evening and hence we had the day to ourselves. In fact we were the only people in the group who still remained in Kathmandu.

We proceeded to the Pashupathinath temple. No visit to Kathmandu gets completed without a visit to the great Pashupathinath temple. It was also a thanksgiving from our side for a successful trek expedition. We came back unscathed and with only great memories

to remain with us till our end.

After having a wonderful darshan, we proceeded to see around Kathmandu including the recent earthquake ruins and the durbar square et all which included a bit of shopping as well. We were promptly taken by Arjun to the airport from the hotel and it was with a heavy heart that I boarded the flight. The past ten days had been a momentous accomplishment to say the least and trust everyone like me can undertake an expedition like this to break our monotonous life style. It makes us enjoy Nature at its best......
