Gary - adventures out to My Son Temple. 1 hour drive Southwest of Hoi An. This is a set of temples were built from 4th Century AD to 10th Century AD. They remained relatively intact until 1968 when the Americans bombed the site, destroying most of the temples. They are being slowly reconstructed. They are set in a mountain valley where the air is fresh and you can hear the monkeys in the jungle.
The Air: we take fresh air in Canada for granted. Many Vietnamese wear masks to filter the air they breathe. Air pollution is thick.
