Cruise Xmas Markets Prague to Budapest and around U.K.

Well this is what I have been waiting for since I was 11 years old.

It has taken me 3 days to get back to this as we have been staying with my cousin Alan and his wife Val in Doncaster. What a lovely time we have had with them. They have opened their hearts and their home to us and it has been soooo worth while and I am so happy we did it. Even Rossi has enjoyed their company. It's been unmeasurable for me. My one regret is that we didn't come here sooner. Still we did it now and have both come away with a bit of Yorkshire. They took us all around the place - antique dealers (much better than ours), garden centre selling Christmas stock the likes I have never seen. Needed a container to bring home. Plus we tried locating more family, but Alan told me a little, and I told him a little, and we did find where mum and Dad used to live, so all good. We tried.

Forgot to mention traveling to Rugby on the way to Doncaster. Went to the museum and saw the school. Needless to say he got a jersey.

Today we have come to York and have done a lot already - York Museum which was how I remembered it and still fabulous, Jorvik Viking Museum and York Dungeon. All worth a look at. Then we have been out for an early tea and I had a hot whiskey toddy. Oh my, must try that one at home. I think it was whiskey (Rossi reckons 3 nips), hot water, a thick slice of lemon and 4 whole cloves. Might have to repeat that one.

Some of the photos are taken out with Alan and Val, then the York

museum and Jorvik museum. Yes it's a viking poo found still intake. The mind boggles.
