Back in the Bay

What's the saying...It's never over till the Fat Lady sings.

Well after regaining the sleep we missed out on with flights home at Nathan and Kelly's in Auckland, I ended up with Plane flu, then a night in Hamilton with Graeme and Colleen to collect Mac, we finally got home Tuesday 12th. Good to be home, now Rossi has Plane flu, but much worse than mine of course.

Wednesday I had my wrist checked out at Dr from when I fell out of bath/shower on 24th December. Came home with a lovely purple cast on, and another 3 weeks off work on ACC. Yes it was broken, but

luckily it was in place and mending, but at least I now no why I couldn't pull my luggage and open doors.

I did feel for Marion at work though who had kindly done my job while away. She was looking forward to a day off on my return and it didn't happen.

At least I have time to look at Travel options now........

p.s. Mac was so pleased to see me, but he also has been so well looked after by Tracey, Robin, Regan and Bree, and now misses his little buddy, Darcy. He just has time to sleep off his very full life with them before we catch up in 6 weeks for Nathan and Kelly's wedding. Ahhhhh it's all go
