Cruise Xmas Markets Prague to Budapest and around U.K.

Well you never quite know what a day is going to bring. Yesterday after a very early start,by the time we arrived in Manchester it was getting on in time and we were knackered, so tea, and a early night.

Didn't need an early morning so took our time and after break took off to look through a Police Museum we had fallen apon the day before, but wasn't open until today. Well Rossi was welcomed with open arms, and they really embraced his being ex Police NZ. Well we spent about 1 1/2 hours there. Very enjoyable. Don't think I passed on the knowledge that my cousin told me, that my grandfather on my dad's side, after WW1 joined the Police, as well as Rossis great Grandfather and Grandfather on his mums side. So all in all Policeman surround us. Very enjoyable time we had, AND Rossi got given an old Manchester Police badge to keep. How special for him. Then we took off for Eccles (my maiden name for those that don't know). Haha not really worth the trip but I can say I went there. It's a part of Manchester but very old and decrepid. So off we then went to the Eccles cake factory. Who would believe it, I went in and explained my name and we were from NZ and the General Manager , Ian, came out and took us out to packaging. Couldn't go through the family factory because of Health and Safety, no news to us, but out he comes with 6 cakes just cooked, I mean too hot to eat, and a bloody box full to bring home. Customs will love us. Couldn't believe it. 20 minutes later those six where the best ever Eccles cakes.
What a day.
Tomorrow is very special for me..............
