Passau

Oopey day thought it was time to get up this morning but it turned out to be 6am not 7am At least I got my diary up to date.
Went on a walking tour this morning, which included a church (cathedrel). The tour guide was quite right in saying we are happy and smile to see him and say good morning, but Germans don't. If you say good morning to them they are likely to say, it's none of your business. So true, and they don't smile.
Finally worked out churches - steeples are the Gothic style and round domes are Boraque.
We decided to stay on board this avo and sail to Linz to take advantage of the ship, but also I am having a massage at 1pm and the

sights going out of Passau are apparently stunning with 2 other rivers ending up in the Danube. So we missed out on Salzburg but that was another €67 each.
Huge floods have been here in the past as signs show, but the Govenment pays for repairs and replaces what they lost. Amazing.
Well the afternoon we spent on board ship winding our way down to Linz. It was an eerie picture as we sailed with the mist coming down, and Lizzie and I managed to sit up on deck in the pool with the steam from the pool and mist all around us. AND believe me a very cold brisk wind swirling around. Very invigorating. Then a hot shower.
Todays cocktail was Single Malt Whiskey based, very nice.
Then we went off to the Chefs table for tea. You had to book for that, so our crowd of 12 did. Lovely lovely dinner all very cuisine made. 6 courses, and i managed to eat them all.
