Well what to do when there is nothing in particular to now go and see. Quite easy for me, catch up with my cousin Alan and Val again.
They were quite overwhelmed I think that we would even think of it. BUT Alan had said well I guess I won't see you again. So it gave me great pleasure to prove him wrong.
So we met up just outside Leeds for a few hours. Really pleasant and well worth it. Yes even Rossi thought so, although like Alan wouldn't want to admit it out loud. ??
The drive also took us over the Yorkshire moors where years ago there were some murders. I must admit the Poms do it well travelling around the country try. The roads are all mainly 3 lanes one way, if not four. Most stick to the speed limit, and all seem to keep a good distance. So we managed to drive over the highest motorway in England. Not windy roads like us. A real breeze to drive, but when you arrive at some of their petticoat junctions it's easy to miss your turn off. Say no more.
This has been an awesome trip, spent with family, friends and new friends, plus Rossi and I have both accomplished all we set out to achieve. What could be better. Not forgetting Tracey, Robin and family looking after my Mac. Couldn't of done this just leaving him with any ole one.
