Day 31 - Jimi would love it!

Sequim, WA, 07.31.2017

Left Issaquah around 10:30 am. Had a great visit there especially being able to visit our niece and her sweet daughter.

We traveled around 3 hours to Sequim, WA (the “e” is silent) to stay overnight at a lavender farm - The Purple Haze on Bell Bottom Lane. Like the winery that we stayed at in Wyoming, this farm was listed on the Harvest Host website. What a find! Beautiful row upon row of lavender plants often separated with mustard seed plants making the purple of the lavender even more vivid.

They have a store here with all sorts of lavender products: soaps, creams, chocolates, spritzes and sprays to name a few. People can “pick their own” lavender as well. Obviously, the smell is as lovely as the view. They also have a store in downtown Sequim which we have not seen yet. We plan on driving through there tomorrow on our way to Olympic National Park.
