Today, you will have access to the Vienna Card! For £15 you can use unlimitied public transport and get discounts on some of todays attractions.

Making the most of the card, take the metro over the Schonbrunn Palace. Wander round the palace grounds and take in the lavish architecture. A lunch option nearby is Cafe Gloriette.

Next, take the metro across the city to the Viennese Giant Ferris Wheel. Use your Vienna Card and pay £11 and head on up the 68 meter wheel for incredible city views.
Now you can have a walk around the nearby park, and either walk back to the hotel (around 60 minutes) or catch the metro.

Relax at the hotel before heading out again. You can make your way over to the Naschmarkt, a vast market with vintage stalls, grab some dinner on the go. Then head over to Karlskirche, a impressive domed cathedral. Head inside for a classical music concert: Vivaldi's Four Seasons. Tickets just £24 with the Vienna Card.
Afterwards, head on back to the hotel.
