After arriving at Vaclav Havel Airport, take the 119 or the 100 bus and then the metro to Hotel Metropolitan Old Town. After dropping off the bags, take a short 5 minute stroll to Old Town Square.
Take in the sights of the Astronomical Clock, The Church of Our Lady before Tyn, and the Old Town Hall.
A 20 minute walk across the river will bring you to Prague Castle, where a £9.50 ticket will allow you to explore the Old Royal Palace, St George's Basilica, Golden Lane, and St Vitus Cathedral.
Continue down a further 10 minutes to Mala Strana, a hillside area with views across the water to Old Town. Nearby is St Nicolas Church.
Cross back over the river via Charles Bridge and make your way back through Old Town and to the Powder Tower. A £3.50 ticket will allow access to the top of this tower and panoramic views of the city. You'll also be able to see the nearby Municipal House, a venue hosting classical concerts, opera, and ballet.
At this point it might be time to check into the hotel. Head back, check in and rest your feet for a short while, before heading back out and over to Vaclavske Nam, a plaza with views of the incredible Nardoni Museum.
Head to the Black Theatre of Jiri Srnec for a Black Light show. 'Aspects of Alice' comes recommended. After the show has come to an end, find somewhere nearby to eat dinner.
After dinner, walk back down to the riverside, gaze at the National Theatre, and enjoy a 20 minute stroll along the river back to the hotel.
