We were all up and out bright and early for the last two soccer games of the tour. The bright, early morning gave us a chance to see some of the sites en route to the Belen area of Lisbon. The buildings in Lisbon are all colorful and if you look closely you can see that many are covered in the old authentic tiles that Portugal is famous for.
The 14s were up first playing Os Belenenses 03 team. The Railhawks boys dominated the game from the start. A handball in the box led to a PK kick taken by Ian and cheekily passed off to Kevan for the goal. Kevan doubled the score with a second goal a short while later. Angelo also got a rebound goal and we were up 3-0 at the half.
For the second half Coach Paul switched around players and positions. Aidan was in center back, Adam played left wing and Edge was playing on the right.

A handball in the box led to a PK kick taken by Ian and cheekily passed off to Kevan for the goal. Kevan doubled the score with a second goal a short while later. Angelo also got a rebound goal and we were up 3-0 at the half.

Cole moved to holding mid and Joshua went up top. Faustino, Cole and Jackson all added to the scoring tally (every defender scored during the week!). We ended the game with a 6-1 victory.
The 13s were up next playing a different group of 03 Belenenses boys. This game was a little tighter, but the Railhawks boys started strong and came out with a
quick 2-0 lead with goals by Zaas and Kiran. Belenenses cut the lead in half shortly before halftime.
The second half saw a CARA goal by Kiran to make it 3-1. A few minutes later there was a PK for Belenenses, which brought it back to 3-2. Hille had the final goal to make it 4-2, and the 13s came away with the win.
After heading back to the hotel to clean up after the games, the group piled back into the bus for an afternoon of site seeing in Lisbon. Everyone had the chance to wander around and explore the city as they saw fit. Perfect weather, a gorgeous city and thoughts of a successful week of soccer made for a lovely end to our visit to these two beautiful countries. Tomorrow we head home!
