After a few days rest from soccer, the boys were back at it again today. Today's schedule consisted of two trainings with Benfica coaches - one at Estadio da Luz ("The Cathedral") and the other at Benfica's Academy.
For the morning session parents and families were invited to attend and it was an impressive facility to see. After a 90 minute session with the coaches, everyone was treated to lunch at the stadium with a view overlooking the field.
After lunch, the boys hopped in one coach to head to Caixa Futebol

After a few days rest from soccer, the boys were back at it again today. Today's schedule consisted of two trainings with Benfica coaches - one at Estadio da Luz ("The Cathedral") and the other at Benfica's Academy.
For the morning session parents and families were invited to attend and it was an impressive facility to see. After a 90 minute session with the coaches, everyone was treated to lunch at the stadium with a view overlooking the field.
After lunch, the boys hopped in one coach to head to Caixa Futebol
Campus and the parents hopped into another for an afternoon of site seeing. Everyone met back up at the stadium ahead of the SL Benfica v CS Maritimo game. The majority stayed for the game while others took the night to explore a bit of Lisbon. The general consensus amongst the boys was this game had the best atmosphere and everyone had a good time.
Tomorrow, it's game on for the boys as they face OS Belenenses for a double header (with the 14s playing at 8:45 and the 13s on at 11:00am) in the morning.
