I should keep my diary up each day as you quickly move from one day to the next however the highlight for me that day was Lake Louise itself. Wow wow wow how beautiful. More on this a little later.
We started the day leaving the Banff National Park behind and heading into the Yoho National Park. First stop Emerald Lake known for its vivid colour and surrounding mountains very beautiful. On to Natural Bridge. Here the share force of the water has created a natural bridge. Our next stop the Spiral Tunnel. The driver we had that day was great when we passed the lookout he decided not to stop as he could not see any trains climbing through the tunnel. He said we could come back later to see if we had any luck with seeing how amazing it was with a train passing through. We were in luck the second time, quite unreal, you can see the train in three different parts of the mountain at the one time - trains can be nearly two miles long. It was then onto our hotel the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. As I said to start with I just loved this place and to cap it off I had a room with the most amazing view of Lake Louise with the Victoria Glacier sitting proud at the top of the lake. Once again we had perfect weather and the reflection on the lake the next morning was totally amazing. I really would have loved another day here.
