Moments in Maldives

Itinerary
For this trip, I've decided to use a travel agent in order to make the most out of my experience. Here is the itinerary I will be going off on, come tomorrow!

Day 1: Kaafu Atoll
Arrive into the North Male Atoll airport and transfer by speedboat to Four Seasons Resort at Kuda Huraa. Check into the high-end resort where the staff will greet you by name and welcome you as family. The gorgeous white sand beach and resort are only accessible by speedboat, giving you the most peaceful setting to take a break from everyday life. Relax on the beach and go for a swim in the turquoise waters.

Day 2: Kaafu Atoll
Begin the morning by treating yourself after the long journey to the Maldives-- enjoy a pampering Island Spa treatment. A massage, facial, or a pedicure are the perfect start to a week in the sunshine and seawater. That evening, get out onto the sea and watch the sun dip in the sky as you take a Dolphin Cruise. Look for the friendly, intelligent creatures swimming right alongside the boat. Return to the resort for some shut-eye after an exciting evening.

Day 3: Liveaboard Luxury Catamaran
Climb aboard the Four Seasons Explorer Liveaboard Luxury Catamaran. Spend the day soaking in the sun as you lounge on the deck. Feel the wind in your hair and inhale the fresh sea breeze. That evening, join your fellow passengers for evening cocktails. Indulge in a savory dinner with your new friends on board.

Day 4: Liveaboard Luxury Catamaran
If you enjoy the early hours of the morning, rise with the sun and go for a dive! If you’re still feeling active, give waterskiing or windsurfing a try. That afternoon you can either snorkel or dive with the resident marine biologist to better acquaint yourself with the active underwater world. That night enjoy cocktails and dinner on board, before falling asleep in your cabin to the gentle rocking of the waves.

Day 5: Liveaboard Luxury Catamaran
Break the surface of the ocean once again with an AM dive. The vibrant reefs are home to hundreds of exotic species. That afternoon visit a local community village. The main tribes on the islands are Sinhalese, Dravidian, Arab and African. The Maldives is one of few countries in existence with an almost 100 percent Sunni Muslim population. After chatting with the locals, you have the rare experience of visiting a desert island. Enjoy the deserted beach and quiet solace. Climb back aboard for a delicious dinner.

Day 6: Baa Atoll
You have the option of an early morning dive before breakfast. Of course, you may also choose to sleep late. Enjoy one last lounge on the ship’s deck. Step ashore Baa Atoll and check into the extravagant Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru. You are in the heart of the Baa Atoll UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. The area is bursting with lush, living flora and fauna. Enjoy the pool, spa, and pampering amenities the resort offers.

Day 7: Baa Atoll
Gofor a last stroll along the white sand to stretch your legs before you begin traveling back towards your return destination. Take a refreshing dip in the sea or pool. Spend a couple hours finalizing your tan. Depart by sea plane to return to the Male International Airport and start your journey home. You may, if you so desire, choose to extend your stay.
