My name is Olfa. I am 21 years old and currently living Spain. I am born and raised in Enschede, which is a city in the east of the Netherlands. Both of my parents are from Tunisia, so at home I speak Arabic as well.

At this moment I am in my third year of the teaching degree in secondary education. I like the interaction with the students. So often they do not see their talent, or don't know how to direct it. It takes just a few suggestions to see your students bloom into professionals. I really enjoy the mentorship aspect of teaching. It's very rewarding at the college level. But I have to say, I learn just as much from my students as they do from me. And I like to think that whatever you do and whatever stage in life you are, you keep learning and growing.

My ambition is to do things I love, to build a life, and career where I’m not constantly waiting for the weekend. I don’t even want to think that I have to live that way, where I hate five days of the week because I hate my life or my job so much and that the only relief I get is Saturday and Sunday. I just want to enjoy my life, love my life, all of it, not just my life on the weekend.

I actually don’t really have hobbies. There were times I thought I perhaps didn’t know myself that well or didn’t find something yet that I liked that much. But a hobby is doing things that makes you happy and I can enjoy myself with the smallest things. I feel happy when going out with my friends and family, have a deep talk with people I barely know, sleeping on the roof on bright summer nights, having walks when the weather is good. I do sing a lot, but I only sing if I feel comfortable around you. I loveeee food, but that is the main reason I work out like 3 times in a week hahah. I like music and dancing.

Let’s see, I love to travel. Travelling has always been a huge passion of my life. When I was younger I developed a great interest in learning about people’s habits and language. I like to meet new people and it’s fascinating to learn about other cultures. I especially love countries with good weather since it’s always cold, raining or snowing in the Netherlands.
