The reason me and my father went to Eindhoven was that Dusseldorf held a very big medical exhibition and we wanted to go there. The reason we went to Eindhoven was that because of the exhibition every hotel in dusseldorf was really expensive.
We flew Ryanair in a 3 hour flight which is not the most comfortable thing to do.
Once we landed we found out that the public transport was really expensive...really expensive...but we could not do anything about it...we took the bus and went to our hotel.
The next day we went to DAF museum...my dream as a kid was to become a truck driver so going to the DAF museum is a pretty big deal for me. The trucks were really amazing and i also got a pic inside a truck !!! There were a lot of racing trucks and something i was not expecting was a 90's Williams F1 car (i don't know why it was there). It was not very big but it was really worth it.
Every morning we ate in a Subway so we had this sorted out...but for lunch it was a bit different...we sat in a restaurant...it was pretty expensive but at least the food was really nice.
The city of Eindhoven is not really big or fancy, but it was my first time in the Netherlands so i was amazed by some things. First of all they prefer bikes over cars...i saw more bikes than cars and i absolutely loved it. They have bike roads everywhere which is ideal and in overall they love bikes. They are also very friendly with the enviroment. They dont use plastic. I went to a pizza store and when i asked for a bag they did not give me one...because it is plastic. They are also the most smiley and polite people i have met...(maybe beacause of weed)...i loved them...in overall i loved this country !!!
I think that if i ever left Greece the place i would go to live would be Netherlands !!!
