Montenegro (Day 1-2)

The day we reached Budva we did not go anywhere. We were very tired to do anything, so our first day is in fact our second day.
We wanted to go swimming in the sea. We found a nice beach in a nearby village and we went. It is really beautiful how this place blends sea and mountains. You are swimming in the sea and right next to you there is a huge mountain.
The beach was not the best to be honest. It had no sand, something i really don't like, and it was really crowded. Anyway...i am not a sea guy anyways.
After we were finished swimming in the sea we headed towards Petrovac to eat (that is what i am into). Petrovac is a really nice village, ideal for a walk because it is not very big and it has a lot of small shops to get things as souvenirs, it has a lot of restaurants and it is right next to the sea.
So we sat to a restaurant. It was very beautiful indeed and we had a pretty good eat there. But after we ate they served us something like a puding which apparently was not the best for my father's stomach...let's just say we were in a big hurry returning to

the hotel.
After the sun came down we went for a night walk in Budva.
Budva is the center of night life in Montenegro, there are a lot of night clubs. I am not a club guy too. Budva was in fact great. There were so many little shops buy things...it had a very long walk which was nice but at some point you were getting really tired and there is the walled city. It is the old city of Budva and it is rather small but very beautiful. Small cobbled streets, very narrow streets, a lot of street performers and a very big castle surrounding everything. Did i mention i am a foodie ? They have the best pizza i ever had !! I have not been to Italy yet to taste the original but i think that this was pretty close. It had the thin crust i like and all those fresh toppings on top. Great !!!
We found some Greeks too...a guy was eating a crepe that seemed very special and my mother wonderd where he got it from...and the guy answered...in Greek. He was a guy working there.
So our first day in Montenegro was very nice.

Our second day was in the same pattern. We went to the beach where we also ate. Something that really amazed me were the waitors in every restaurant and cafe...they were filling up your glass

with what you were drinking like you were in a 5 star restaurant. In the evening we went to Petrovac. It was a nice walk.
