So from Eindhoven we ended up in Dusseldorf...it was the first time i used a FlixBus and i have to say that i was amazed. They were cheap, clean, very comfortable and they also had onboard free wi-fi. Very nice experience.
Once we arrived in Dusseldorf we had a very nice breakfast and then we headed towards the Messe which is the place the exhibition was held. It was right next to the airport so it was a long subway ride. The subway is not very modern...in fact it is pretty old.
When we entered the exhibition we found out that the entrance ticket was 60€...so...there goes 120€. Thankfully the exhibition was really good. We saw a lot of interesting stuff like new equipment for our job, but i have some very strong evidence that my father did not go there for the equipment but to get some new pens...he must took around 20 new pens in the exhibition from the brochures...i think that this is the reason he went there...seriously...
After we had a lot of knew knowledge about pens we headed to the city centre. Dusseldorf is a typical German city. The only nice thing about it is the River. Rhine goes through Dusseldorf and it gives a bit more glamour. They also have a big tower where you can go and have the best view of Dusseldorf but we did not go because my father is not really in love with heights.
So we decided to have something to eat and drink. I mostly went for the drink. Germany for me is a synonym to another word...BEER. So i did drink some beers right next to the Rhine.
I think that this was the highlight of the city.
