And here we are...the first of many to come...who knew...not me...
It all started when i had the idea to go to my best friend for a break. I found a cheap flight and Munich here i come.
I have to say that i was pretty excited about this trip. It was my first solo trip so it was a bit special.
Anyways, the welcome in Munich was not the best. My friend was late for picking me up from the airport so i had to wait for about 20 minutes and for some unknown reason my phone was not working. Thank God he came to pick me up.

We headed downtown in what was a 40 minute drive to his house. I have to say that the first glimpse of the city was very nice. There were a lot of trees in the city and what surprised me very much was how clean the city was.
The days past very fast to be honest. The day that we went to the zoo was really nice (no, i am not 5). It was the biggest zoo i have ever been to and it had all kinds of animals but i really liked all the monkeys that were there, it was like i was searching for my lost brother in there. I also got the best selfie ever. I got a selfie with a goat !!!! I really did !!! I know it is not a tiger but it is something.
I have to admit that all the memories are a bit blurry, it has been almost 3 years now.
Another reason i really liked my trip to Munich was that i met 2 very nice people, Matthew and Akis. I have not seen Matthew since but i think that he would make a very nice company. Akis came to Greece in 2018 and we met again. So it was nice meeting new people.
A very big day was the day that we went to the BMW museum. I was so excited going there. We first went to the BMW dealer next to the museum, i got some pics with some cars i am never going to have and then with tears in my eyes we went to the museum. I can't say that i was very impressed with the museum. First of all it was a bit small. I am more of a racing car guy so maybe this is the reason i did not like it very much, it was more road car orientated, but in the end it was a very nice experience with the highlight being the V12 LMR that won Le Mans in 1999. In the same day we went to the aquarium next to the olympic stadium (not worth it !!!) and to the olympic tower (totally worth it !!!!). We were 200 metres above ground and we had the best view ever.
If i had to choose the best experiences in this journey they would be 2.
Firstly they have all you can eat rastaurants. We don't have this shit in Greece. I think it the best thing the human brain has thought of. You can eat all the boufet or you can die trying, and you can do this for 13 €. This was propably the best eat i ever had.
The other experience was not in Munich but it was part of this trip. We went on a day trip to Switzerland, me, Akis and my friend Andrew. We started early in the morning because it was a long drive to Zurich. Once we were about 20 km from the border we stopped to a gas station to refuel but we found out that in order to enter switzerland with the car we had to have a vignette bought that cost 50 €. And at this monent i heard the wonderful idea of going back........................In my head i was screaming but you know...it is not my car...Thank God again we found an old vignette and stuck it on the car and Thank God again the border control guys did not tell us anything so...we are in Switzerland. I was really amazed by how beautifull this country is. We firstly went to Rheinfall. It is the biggest waterfall in Europe and the least i can say is that it is really amazing. There were stairs to get to the edge of the waterfall but it needed a ticket of 5 € (my friend is a cheapskate but he is a good guy) so we did not go but in overall it was really amazing. Our next stop was Zurich. The most expensive city i have been to. We stayed there for about 2 hours and i think i saw about 15 supercars. It is a really beautifull city but it reminds you how unfair this world is. I also tried swiss chocolate and macarons (they were really nice but not what i was expecting). We stayed for such a little time because we had a really long drive back home. Once we got back we were really exhausted but it was worth it.
The other days went past with some nice walks in the city and night out for a drink. I think that this trip is really special for me because it is how it all started...at least partially...
