Our next leg of Sydney city tour continues today also today the city is open till 9 PM. Ganesh joined us by skipping work. Me and Kanya went by Public transport whereas the others came with Ganesh in his Audi Q3. Our first stop was the Power House Museum in the city.
The Power house museum as the name depicts showcases history and working of electrical utilities. Added to that there was a temporary showcase of Egyptian Mummies transported from London which was awe inspiring. Had an eye opening tour of the museum which took almost the entire half day.

After the power house Museum we proceeded to the Chinese garden of Friendship and then onto Paddy's Hay market at China Town in Downtown Sydney for shopping. Lunch was at KFC, George's street following which we entered the shopping district of Sydney with the QVB (Queen Victoria Building) housing some of the upscale branded wear and then onto the various malls situated around it including The Strand.
Most of the malls were Victorian type architectural buildings giving a grandeur that words cannot explain. Most of the pictures looked like portraits. Its a must visit place even if its just for window shopping. The shopping district was visited only by me, wifey and Kanya. The kids and Ganesh left from Geroge Street back home. After a tiresome day well spent we returned home late in the evening as the shops were open till 9 PM being a thursday.
