Pongalo Pongal

Today is Pongal and the entire house has been cleaned and inhouse Pongal celebration took place early in the morning. After a long time Pongal has been celebrated by the whole family together.

After Pongal celebrations at Ganesh's house we decided to visit the Sri Venkateswara temple to pay our respects to the almighty. It was a long drive but had a great darshan.

After our return from the temple the kids wanted to visit the local amusement park, the Luna Park so Me, Ganesh and the Kids went to Luna Park. After a brief time at the Luna Park I went on my own to the casino, The Star where i was amazed at the size of casino and the crowd therein. Kids had a gala time at the amusement park which included a fireworks display in the night. they returned home by 9 PM.

I was in no mood to leave the Poker table till morning but due to repeated calls from the family, had to leave the casino by 11 PM, reason being transportation back to Beacon Hill.

I had difficulty getting transport back but nevertheless got a Midnight Bus to Dee Why which is the nearest point to Ganesh's house. Was not able to get a cab even at Deewhy and so had to walk the last 3 Kms. The day's events had kept me at high testosterone levels that I didnt mind the walk at 1 AM when i reached home.
