Our penultimate day at Sydney. Feeling sad that the trip is nearing its end. Started the day with packing our bags, there were too many. Our baggage weight had doubled from what we brought to Australia and what we are carrying back to India.
Ganesh wanted us to enjoy the day with the Ozzie nature and hence we proceeded to a wildlife park called feather dale wherein you find Native Ozzie animals in the open, you can feed them and cosy up to them. It was a fabulous outing. Had a one to one session with various types of Kangaroos, wallabys, Koalas, etc...
In the evening we went to Sandhya's uncle's house for a courtesy visit and thereafter to his upscale Indian restaurant, Sri's Curry at
Narrabeen. We were treated to some exquisite food including Pasta and Squid Rings.
The miserable night of packing with a heavy heart was on us. We missed a lot of things including sleep for the night.
On the 16th morning, we were ready by 9 AM all packed waiting for the airport shuttle. The shuttle arrived around 9. 45 AM and we left amids tears. Leaving our soul behind but carrying all the memories of
those wonderful 25 days which will be hard to beat in the years to come by.
Our return flight was through Singapore Changi Airport on Scoot Airlines. We scooted from Sydney enroute to home. The flight was very comfortable on both the aircraft as it was a dreamliner. Only issue was the pathetic food we were served. Anyway we were not much interested in food as we were completely exhausted and brought out all the sleep we could muster.
Had a short changeover at Changi for bottle shopping and continued our travel to Chennai. It would take a miracle to break this fun we enjoyed in the summer downunder. A big adieu to Ozzieland.
