Canberra Sojourn

The next day since Ganesh and family were not there we went on to the nearby Warringah Mall for some year end sale shopping along with Dad and Mum. In the evening went to Harvey Norman, the electronic warehouse mart where I procured The Hero GoPro Action Camera, a much needed arsenal for continuous recording.

The following day, 4th Jan we had decided to go to Canberra to spend some time with Ganesh's inlaws and Chandru, Ganesh's BIL came over from Canberra to pick us up and immediately by 11 AM left in his Toyota Kruger to Canberra.

Enroute to Canberra we were stooped by Highway rangers for overspeeding and considering our presence he gave us a discount yet had to cough up 105 AUD as fine for the offence.

We were made comfortable at Canberra by Chandru his family and his parents. A wonderful and spacious twin storied house with a temporary pool and trampoline for outdoor activity. In the evening we went to the American wholesaler depot "Cosco" for some shopping which did take a whole lot of time but the prices were very attractive and burnt quite a hole in my wallet.

Though in the evening the Kids had a fun time at the park nearby, they were in their own world. Enjoying the company of Aishu, Chandru's daughter who was a perfect host for my kids. Aishu has become a great pal for my kids.
