A Melbourne Trip is not wholesome without a visit to the Magnificient Melbourne Cricket Grounds (MCG), a must visit for all cricket enthusiasts. Boy did we have a sight, words cannot explain the grandeur of the stadium. A part of us visited the stadium (Myself, Kanya, Ganesh, Raja, My Dad and Mum), all the others went for street shopping in Melbourne CBD. We had booked tickets to watch the Australia Vs Pakistan Test match which was going on at MCG that day.
Melbourne is a city which is hard to predict when it comes to its weather. We can visualise all the four seasons in one day. It so happened on the 27th as well. It was bright and sunny in the morning and mid day it was pleasant and thereafter rainy and it was chilly in the evening. With a couple of Beers at the stadium, we savoured every moment there.

After the stadium visit we proceeded to Phillip Island to view the Penguin Parade in the evening as the Penguins come out of sea to their breeding grounds only at dusk. Phillip Island was around 150 Kms from melbourne and took us around 2 hours to reach. The Parade was over crowded and luckily we had pre booked our seats.
It was drizzling and we had to sit on the overcrowded and wet beach sands. The penguins were very small but in thousands when they came out of water and walked through the sand to their resting place on the shore. We were restricted to take much pictures and a few anyway were clicked and added here. After the Penguin Parade show we drove back home and hit the bed by 12 AM once again.
