Day 14: Drama in Samui

We were up fairly early to check-out from Shiralea and to head back to Samui on a ferry. The boat ride was quick however on getting off we were hit by terrible rain which got us all soaked. Said goodbye to Issy at the port which was so sad. We had got so close to the group in such a short space of time! The rest of us headed back to the hotel which we were able to use as a base to dry off and get some food. Saying goodbye to Salvatore was so so hard however we have agreed to see each other in October when I get to Melbourne! I'm counting down the days already! Hermione and I headed off to the airport around 5pm as we needed to get to Bangkok for our onward journey. However, as we got through security in the airport, Hermione fell ill which meant we weren't able to fly. Spent the evening in a private hospital, followed by a much better public hospital where we were able to get a doctors note saying she could fly home! Headed back to the Flora Hotel once Hermione was better and were reunited once again with Dee, Jacqui and Lauren which was nice. We had already had an emotional goodbye saying bye to them once so it was good that we could see them again. Mummy and Daddy changed our flights for us during the night as we had missed our scheduled ones.
