Sue and Mike to UK & Munich

A short trip to meet Anna at Richmond for a Ted Lasso memory photo shoot outside the pub, opposite Richmond Green and on the park bench seats. We walked down the cute laneways where there is some Ted Lasso memorabilia in the shops and had a very nice morning tea at the Hippo Cafe before heading back to the Richmond tube line to see the amazing book tower at Kings Cross station. It had book seating nooks with talking books…very cute!

We made our way to Arsenal tube stop to see the Chelsea V Arsenal women’s game at Emirates stadium. The stadium was enormous and our seats gave us a superb view over it all. The crowd record was broken on the day with 59000 attending a women’s match. Arsenal were dominating and won 4 - 1. It was a fantastic experience with all of us impressed with the crowd control to the tube station afterwards…it all flowed easily. We then went to a pub that Sean had been to previously with his work office nearby. It was only 5pm but so dark and lots of people enjoying a Saturday night out. Christmas lights and decorations everywhere. We had dinner at the Carpenters Alms with the family, before walking through China Town.

Caught the tube home to Kew, which is very cute with all the

Caught the tube home to Kew, which is very cute with all the

Christmas lights around the village by the station. People were in the restaurants there. Kew is very pleasant to walk around in the day or night time. Lots of people everywhere as the fabulous Christmas lights are on the Kew Gardens for about 6 weeks.

At Richmond I was intrigued to see all the Christmas wreaths at the florists all made with real holly, berries, pine cones, other flowers and greenery. We are used to imitation ones!
