After yesterday's 14 hour journey door-to-door, I was shattered and so I wanted an easy morning. I had a long, pampering bath and relaxed in the gazebo in Cherry's garden. In the afternoon we took the kids to Springridge Fun Farm, a half hour drive from Oakville. Being September the 'gourds' were in season and looked very colourful. A great view from the hilltop and an amusing ride on the back of a tractor. It was just the ticket. I am grateful to be spending time with Ben & Liz & Evie, and being surrounded by the Canadian family and able to continue to enjoy travelling into my late-middle age.
