My diary

On Sundays after the fourth service they always have young life for the young adults. I always looked forward to it because I got to make new friends and learn more french words and hang out with awesome people. This last Sunday was my last time at Young Life and they created an ORU game for people wanting to say goodbye to us. There were two teams and they would give you cut up pieces of a sentence and you had to put it together. The team that lost had to do what the sentence said; such as dance the charleston or something. It was so much fun because every other round the sentences were either in French or English. Later that night they had worship where people could interchange who helps sing and play instruments. At one point everyone was having fun dancing and singing because everyone is very talented with either dance, instruments, or singing so it always is so cool seeing everyone express themselves when they have worship. Some of the girls even brought me on stage to help sing with them. That was really cool because we would sing in english and then in French. They asked me to lead one of the songs I suggested (Break Every Chain) and for me it was such a cool moment. Something broke loose inside of me while I leading the song and I had no clue I had the capability of singing and leading like that. The girls were so encouraging as well and so proud. That night taught me a lot about myself and the growth that I have encountered while being Paris. I will never forget those fun and impactful memories at young life.
