Jill and Brad totally rallied. Despite having jet lag, they joined us on a hike at Marjan Hill to Kasjuni Beach. Awesome day outdoors. We then taxied back to town, showered and had an early dinner at a wonderful and very authentic restaurant – Konoba Fetivi. Fantastic grilled fish dishes and risottos. Then we dashed to a bar to watch Croatia defeat England in the World Cup semifinals. (First goal was scored by Ivan Perisic -- a local of Split.) The streets went wild.
