We woke up at 6:30am and dragged our suitcases down the quiet streets of the Old City of Dubrovnik while the street cleaners were hosing down the cobblestones and the restaurant workers were setting up their outdoor tables and chairs. We taxied to the airport and hopped a plane to Amsterdam.

Eric booked our last night at an incredible boutique hotel called Seven One Seven, situated on a canal at 717 Prinsengracht. The décor of this hotel is incredible. I have taken a million pictures so that I can try to replicate bits and pieces in our own house: upholstery, the way that art and artifacts are displayed together, beautiful shades of blue paint on walls, how and where they have stacked their firewood. Not an inch has been overlooked. And the service is extraordinary.

After dropping our bags, we spent hours wandering the streets from Oud Este to de Pijp. Walking and hopping on and off the tram. We decided to grab quick poke bowls and go to a movie for our last night. Wonderful, casual evening and a walk back to the hotel at around midnight.
