Jill and Brad left this morning. Loved having them join us for part of our sabbatical holiday.
We left the house mid-morning and headed to Stari Grad to rent bikes. We had been discussing doing this for days. But today we rode from Stari Grad to Vrboska , a relatively flat, rocky road intersecting the UNESCO coveted Stari Grad Plain. We road for about 3 hours in intense heat but it was so beautiful as we passed olive groves and vineyards and ancient artifacts.
We got back to the house at around 5pm and swam in the sea. And then I hopped in one of the two hammocks and read for an hour before we prepared dinner. Glorious! We really do feel like spoiled brats.

Hvar – Day Twenty-One
