This morning after breakfast we hiked up to where we parked our car to get books and towels and various items we had left behind – about a 10 minute walk up narrow cobbled roads. We didn’t realize that we had parked right next to Marjan Hill. Marjan Hill is an incredible park. As described by a local, “the hills and its forests are the lungs of the city, the most popular place to escape from the city bustling and chaotic pace of life during the high season in July and August. So true. It was amazing to leave the jam-packed city and beaches and find trails with next to no one on them.

Our hike ended at Kasjuni Beach and Joe's Beach where we found a throng of EDM-ers swimming and soaking in the sun (pre-funking for the evening's Ultra show). Eric got some hilarious video footage of the restaurant scene at this beach.
