John Hallam's World Travels : Australia I (2015)

So after three months of travelling up and down the Australian East Coast the Australian journey was coming to an end. The final leg of the journey involved a return journey to the Blue Mountains. Although this time there would be no Michaela or Ben and it would be a hired 4x4 to explore the mountains on my own. So arriving in Sydney I said goodbye to my Scottish friend Nikki and started on my journey to the Blue Mountains.

One reason I didn't cancel the Blue Mountains trip because for me it was going to be like the Lord Of The Rings quest. It would be my final journey, it would give me a chance to reflect, it would give me a chance to think. I knew it would be an emotional couple of days, but when you hit rock bottom, there is only one way up.
