Alaska Trip 2019
We spent two days here in Dawson City, Youkon “The Klondike“. This is one of the famous Gold Rush towns from the late 1890's. We visited a huge dredge that was built in 1912 that was about 200 feet long and 8 stories high that produced 800 ounces of gold every 24 hours. That's about $960,000 in today's money! We also went to the top of "Dome Mountain” and took some great pictures overlooking Dawson City. We are going to see a Can-Can show tonight at Diamond Tooth Gerties. Should be fun!
