Alaska Trip 2019
We are here in Eagle River for a few more days and making day trips to the area around here and Anchorage. We went to the town of Girdwood and to the Portage Glacier. We made the mile hike up to the glacier. It was really nice! Our dog Rokky, had a great time playing in the snow.
To get over to Whittier, we drove through a 2.25 mile tunnel. There was a cruise ship in port. The cruise ship was on a Glacier tour.
