Alaska Trip 2019
The 200 miles trip from Fairbanks took about 4 hours. The road was paved and in pretty good shape. We checked into the Denali RV Park and will spend 4 days here. This morning we took an 11 hour, 84 mile bus tour into Denali National Park to Wonder Lake. There is only one single lane road that takes you deep into the park. Private transportation is allowed only on the first 15 miles, and after making the trip by bus I understand why. We made several rest stops along the way and stopped often for photos.
We saw lots of wildlife-grizzly bears, caribou, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats.
By the way, I want to say Happy Birthday to my son Jerrid!
