Alaska Trip 2019
The 200 mile drive from Tok to Fairbanks took about 5 hours. The road was pretty good. The posted speed was 65 mph, but we drove between 55 & 60 mph. The road was much improved than the "Top of the World" highway the day before. On the way we made a quick stop in North Pole, Alaska. It's known for its year-round Christmas decorations, including candy cane striped street lights. We plan on staying here in Fairbanks for a few days before we head down to Healy, AK, near Denali National Park.
