Alaska Trip 2019
We left Lake Louise, Alberta a little later than we had planed. We got 4 inches of snow last night so we waited for the roads to clear. The 145 miles through Jasper National Park on Highway 93 was so beautiful! About half way along we came to the Jasper Icefields (Google it) to see how beautiful and cold it is! We had lunch by a river with towering mountains with snow that fed the river. Crossing the road in front of the RV was a huge black bear! I think it was a male judging by its size. We are spending the night in Grande Cache, AB. It's a pretty small town but it had an A&W restaurant so we had dinner there. We'll be leaving tomorrow for Dawson Creek, British Columbia....the start of the Alaska Highway!!
