Alaska Trip 2019
Seward was a thriving commercial fishing community in the 1960s until the 9.6 magnitude earthquake wiped out the commercial fishing industry here. After the earthquake, the city of Seward developed a thriving tourist industry with parks along the coastline. There are about two thousand RV spots here and all are full this July 4th weekend! The fire works here began at 12:01 am due to the extended day light hours this time of year. At the present time, there are over 22 hours of daylight!
