America on the road
So the motel thing didn't really work out, turns out they get stupid busy on Friday nights.
Also turns out that both Jamie and I looked at the map and didn't realise we were crossing Mississippi so we booked a hotel at around midnight but it turns out they don't know how to work the internet. Met a really helpful police officer who helped us get to the least helpful hotel ever, not staying at Sun suites ever.
SO back on the road, after waiting an hour at the gross place, we decided to just head to our aim destination: New Orleans.
We didn't quite get to New Orleans, by the time we both felt we needed to get off the road: tiredness, urinaton etc. we were about to cross the state line into Louisiana, and the next rest area was the Louisiana State Welcome Centre.
We pulled off the road, found some shade to park in and went to sleep.
