America on the road

So on our first proper night in the city we headed to Guy Fieri's Burger Joint in the Linq, via about six bars, but when we got there we were given a 35 minute wait time which seemed ridiculous. We were chatting to the couple in front of us - Vito and Heather - to see if they wanted to maybe share a table which they did, hostess didn't care much, same wait time even though there were empty tables. Vito said the other restaurant in the Linq was better so we might as well head there. He was so right.
Have you ever had steak wrapped asparagus? I have, that shit is THE BOMB.
Rack of lamb, truffle mac and cheese, Caesar salad, salmon penne pasta, all of the food in the world.
After dinner, and drinks Vito asked if we wanted to party - and lets be honest what person in Vegas doesn't? - so we got in a cab and headed to a pool party.
Lots of stuff happened but I was very drunk, the cliff notes are as follows:
Food is good.
Always take strangers who know their food up on party offers.
Cops can drink.
Tequila is almost never the best decision.
Try to remember your stuff.
Try not to lose each other.
That same cop will send you a message with you r reminders when he has your phone the next morning.

(The photo is the only one either of us has from that night. So, there you go)
