America on the road
When we left the redwood highway we were straight into Oregon where we promptly found a building called 'The G Spot' obviously, we stopped in. Unfortunately they missed a trick and it wasn't in fact a strip club but rather a really nice small town bar. After asking for directions to the nearest campsite we headed on towards Lake Selmac, it was a good nights camping sleep - since Jamie and I had decided not to talk to each other.
When we woke up - and after we paid for our sleeping spot - we were on the road towards one of the spots we'd both been waiting for, Crater Lake, Oregon.
Crater Lake National Park is in Oregon, it costs $15 per car and it is unbelievable. I have never seen water so blue in my whole life. Unfortunately the day we were there it decided to thunderstorm and rain so no swimming was to be had.
After the glory of Crater Lake we booked our first Airbnb, in Portland.
