My diary

Dear Diary
I am exorsted today Mum and Dad made us climb up Rangitoto one Of New Zealand's Biggest non active volcanoes of all things. First we walked to the docks because we were going to across the sea and we had to stop at Deninport which was annoying but I could live with it. My sister Louise wanted to go to the top of the boat and for the first time in a while I agreed to go with her up the top. Mum said she would stay inside because she gets sea sick really bad. Dad came out with us and we got the best view of the harbour bridge plus we were the first people to see Devenport. At Devenport we stopped for about 5 min then on our way to Rangitoto. Dad said it was about 20 min away. By 20 min Louise was getting board and keep saying are we there yet, are we there yet. It was getting really annoying. When we finally got there we had a bite to eat and started to climb. At first it was quite cool and we were going strong and then we came out into the sun. It was like England in the hottest summer we had ever had in one day. It really hot and then we would go into the bush to cool off. The track was off road for most only when we got to the top did the track come in but more on that later. We were about half way up when we could not go on anymore and stopped to have some food and a big drink of water. After we started again we begin to head up steadily. That was when Dad said we would make it to the top in about 10 min. We made it to the top in about 20 min later almost double the time Dad said it would but never mind, so we got to the top and there was a path that you could take that wrapped the to of the mountain we took that all around and then walked up some stone stairs to the very top. It was a very satisfying feeling when we saw the amazing view, we had lunch and began on our way down thinking it was going to be easy. of course it was not because all the steep hills that we had climbed up we had to come down. I keep on falling over and eventery just went down on my bum for the rest. We were just in time for the boat so we jumped in was home in 40 min. Sorry got to go now diner. Later. we went to get fish and chips for dinner but have to go to bed now sorry goodnight.
