Dear Diary
Today we drove down to Wellington which is 4 hours. we are staying in Cuba street which is the main street in wellington. when we were driving it began to rain really heavy so that dad had to go really slow while he was driving. when we finally arrived in Wellington we drove around trying to find our hotel. when we found it we checked in and went to find our room. We found it and mum told us that she wanted to go for a walk seeing that it was only 3:30. Dad told her that we would love to so we put on our puffers and headed out onto Cuba street. Mum said that she wanted to see the sea again so we headed down the street and though this little ally way. as we were walking on the pavement a giant wave came and drenched us covering us in water. Mum at that stage though that we better turn back. A)because we were covered in water and B) because in was nearly 4 o'clook and we needed to get a good night sleep. We made our way back to the hotel and Louise told us that she knew the way back to our room. the thing was, was she didn't. we got lost and found our selves in a pool. mum told us when we get back to our hotel room get on your togs and you can go for a swim with your father so that is what we did. Mum said that while we have our swim she would have a shower and get fish and chips. Now i am lying on my bed full and warm ready for bed. Goodnight
