Dear Diary
Today we went to the top of New Zealand. It was really windy. We are staying in Coopers Beach so it was a 2:00 drive up and my annoying little sister kept asking "are we there yet" it got so annoying. When we got to the top (finally) we walked the track to the light house (see the postcard at the bottom) there was a nice track to the lighthouse that we walked up to. when we got to the top there were signposts pointing where each of the countries like England, Aussie and China are. after about 10 minuets my sister and I where getting bored because Mum and Dad had said that we could go to the big sand dunes. On the way back up to the car Dad was telling us that the Maori believe that that when they die their body jumps off the end of Cape Ranga. When we got back to the car Mum brought out the lunch that she had made. Marmite sandwiches and chips we then went onto the sand dunes. At the sand dunes Dad made us climb to the very top of the highest one and then wanted us to slide down it. We said no thank you and walked down even though it took us twice as long. We walked back down to our car and drove home back to Coopers Beach. Got to go now going to the beach.
