Dear Diary
Today we went to steward island by boat. it was really ruff going over. We were hoping to see some sharks but was to windy and mum got sea sick even though we were only on the boat for 1 hour. We could not bring out car do are stuck walking around which was annoying when your feet are falling off from the day before. It was a good thing our hotel is really close to the wharf. when we got to the island we had a swim still looking out for sharks till lunch which the the hotel provided for us. then we went for a walk on the island. dad said the island is 1,746 km²long. Dad also told me that Stewart Island is the third-largest island of New Zealand and it lies 30 kilometres south of the South Island. When we were hiking we found some bird colonies with some native birds to New Zealand. There were some really fat ones and they were funny plus we saw a Tui. Dad said that tui's have 2 voice boxs and they are the only animal to have 2 vice boxs not even hummen's have 2. When we got back we were all hungrey and tired so we had dinner and are ready for bed so Goodnight.
