The guide books are spread over the floor, there’s a map on the wall with pins in and a spreadsheet! Detailed planning has officially started and there is just too much to see and do. I’m going to have to restrict myself so as not to rush through NZ but try and take the time to enjoy it.

Let the planning begin!
The guide books are spread over the floor, there’s a map on the wall with pins in and a spreadsheet! Detailed planning has officially started and there is just too much to see and do. I’m going to have to restrict myself so as not to rush through NZ but try and take the time to enjoy it.
South Island is likely to get the lion share of days but I have friends to visit on the North Island in both Wellington and Auckland. Everyone I
speak to that has been to NZ has their own opinion on what to do, where to go..... my must see list just keeps growing!
The NZ tourist website is great, allowing you to plan travel times between destinations and suggesting activities and tours. I will arrive in spring and a lot of the activities are just starting to reopen. Everything looks so cool... kayaking, paragliding, diving, hiking, boat trips........ planning is going to be tough and I need to set a budget!
