Nats Epic Solo New Zealand Adventure
Finally the decision has been made and my home for the 23 days has been selected.
It has been tougher than you’d think to choose my home on wheels.... there are all the usual decision points of cost, location but configuration is also key. After a long drive I don’t want to be moving cushions and putting up beds.... I want to just relax, taking in the scenery and enjoy so a fixed bed was a must. This generally leads you to a bigger van which is less manoeuverable so not ideal on windy mountain roads...... I want something compact but that feels spacious, will be quick and nimble but equally luxurious.
After months of research and comparing the final decision is a Helix 2 from Wilderness Motorohome Hire. Isn’t she lovely!
I’ve invested in unlimited Wi-Fi in the van too so where ever the hub can connect I will be connected.... I will still be able to Skype, FaceTime, post rubbish on Facebook etc and investigate and plan the next destination on my route. Should be perfect....
I can’t wait to start my NZ adventure with her!

Chapter Three - Its All Booked!
