My Fijian Adventure

10:19am Fiji Time
I woke up early today to catch my shuttle to go on a snorkel cruise, I was exhausted from my late night but excited to go snorkeling, however, after waiting for an hour, I thought something might have gone wrong. It turned out the trip had been cancelled. I was disappointed, but sega na lega (no worries), I moved on with my day, looking for breakfast when a woman heading to the airport gave me 3 coconuts, I ate 2 for breakfast with one of the locals who showed me how to open one and how get the meat out, the fresh coconut was delicious. Afterwards, I decided to get some sun. I took a book down to the beach and relaxed for a while until I was hot enough to go cool off in the ocean. On my way down, I ran into a friend from yesterday and we decided to go in to town again, we walked around for a bit and I bought some sausages for the strays back at the hostel and some more fruit. It was an especially hot day and so we headed back early. I found the pregnant cat called Quan by the locals and fed her a sausage. One of the locals came up and explained that in Fiji if you play with a pregnant cat, you'll be the next one, I laughed and said that wasn’t happening, he left after wishing me luck with my new baby. I was a little shocked, but t was pretty hilarious. I met up with some friends and walked down the beach until we got hot and went for a swim in the ocean. The sea lice kept getting at us so we decided to head over to the poo. On our way, we ran into a few of the locals and they invited us to go out on their boat to a smaller island so they could pick someone up. The ride was amazing, we rode by the sunset and we stopped off in the middle of the ocean to swim there. The water was so blue and clear and we were all having an amazing time laughing and singing together. When we got to the little island of Salsi, we picked up another traveller named Megan and headed back to the hostel. Meagan took out her guitar and we all sang along to hear music until we reached the beach. I went off to take a shower and then warmed up by a fire. I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open i got some fries for dinner and then almost fell asleep going back to my dorm
